WHAT IS FYSEL®?
We believe the future of fashion isn't created new; it's recreated. FYSEL™ is our proprietary performance fabric engineered mainly from post-consumer recycled plastic. We take waste that would otherwise clog our oceans and landfills and transform it into a durable, technical material designed for the rigors of healthcare.

A CLEANER ALTERNATIVE TO TRADITIONAL POLYESTER
Traditional polyester relies onvirgin fossil fuel extraction, a carbon-intensive process that continuously expands the global plastic footprint. rPET (Recycled Polyethylene Terephthalate) offers a circular alternative by upcycling post-consumer waste into high-tenacity filaments.
This transition significantly reduces emissions and energy consumption without compromising the tensile strength, moisture-wicking, or wrinkle-resistant properties essential for clinical textiles.

THE PROCESS.
Converting post-consumer plastic into rPET is a precise engineering process that transforms waste into high-performance fiber. PET waste is sterilized, shredded into flakes, and thermally processed into a molten resin. This resin is then extruded through high-precision spinnerets to create continuous filaments.
By aligning the material's molecular chains, this process ensures the recycled fiber matches the tensile strength and moisture-wicking specifications of virgin polyester while drastically reducing production energy.
