TENCEL™ is derived from responsibly harvested trees. Being made from a natural material it does not retain color in the same way that synthetic fabrics would. But you don't have to do any special extra care that much.

1. Machine wash with like colors,

(Turn your scrubs inside out when washing to avoid fabric abrasion and fading. This applies to all fabrics.)

2. Only use Non-Chlorine Bleach when needed

3. Tumble dry low

4. Iron if needed

** Overloading washer or dryer could damage your clothes and decrease your washer and dryer's efficiency

** Don’t forget to treat stains before washing and disinfecting your scrubs. You might want to wash your scrubs in cold water to initially remove stains, before washing them a second time in warm water with disinfectant. Warmer water is likely to set the stains.

** Adding ½ cup of vinegar to your load will help soften the fabric.

** Scrubs can be disinfected by adding ½ cup of Pine-Sol along with your regular detergent.

A regular wash with warm to hot water and a spin in the dryer will kill most germs. But, Don’t forget to treat stains before washing.  Also, if you need extra disinfectant, you need to take an extra step, we will guide this here, too.

A few tips to keep in mind when treating those stains:

- The sooner you treat the stain the easier it will be to remove it.

- Use cold water. Hot or even warm water will set in the stain, making it harder, or even impossible, to remove.

- Pretreat with a stain remover and soak overnight before washing.

Here are some of the most common stain culprits and quick tips on how to treat the stains prior to washing:

Stain Type How to Remove Blood To remove a blood stain, first wet the affected area with cold water. Then, gently rub a bar of soap over the stain while holding a stream of cold water above it. The soap and water will work together to break down the proteins in the blood. Continue rubbing and rinsing until the stain fully dissipates. For an alternative approach, directly apply hydrogen peroxide to the blood stain. Hydrogen peroxide acts as an oxidizing agent that bleaches out the stain. Simply pour hydrogen peroxide onto the stain and allow it to set for a few minutes before rinsing with water. The hydrogen peroxide method provides a fast and effective way to remove blood from fabric. With either the soap and water or the hydrogen peroxide technique, the blood stain should disappear completely with minimal effort. Urine To remove it, soak it for a few hours in a mixture of cold water and ammonia. The ammonia should help lift the stain and deodorize the area. Sweat Soak the stain in a mixture of ½ cup of cold water and 1 tablespoon of vinegar to freshen up. Vomit/ Feces Remove any solid particles from the stained area. Rinse thoroughly with cold water. Soak the stain in a mixture of one quart of warm water and one tablespoon of ammonia. Use a soft brush to lightly stroke the stain. Rinse well with water to remove any remaining ammonia after the stain is lifted. Repeat this process as needed until the stain is fully removed. Medication Oil Based To treat oil or grease stains before washing, apply either baby powder or dish soap to the stain. Baby powder will absorb the oil, while dish soap breaks down grease. Apply the powder or soap, then proceed with the regular wash cycle. This pre-treatment step helps remove stubborn food and medication stains from clothing and other fabrics. Medication Ointment Remove any excess ointment. Lightly apply corn starch and rub it in until fully absorbed. And wash it with cold water. Coffee promptly absorb any liquid by blotting with a clean cloth. Sprinkle baking soda over the stain and blot without rubbing.
