What kind of fabric is Tencel™?
Tencel is a fabric made from wood pulp. It uses fewer chemicals and produces less waste than other fabrics. Tencel is great for medical scrubs because it's breathable, soft, absorbent, and antimicrobial.
It's breathable so healthcare workers stay cool when moving around. Tencel is very soft against the skin, especially for long shifts, and doesn't irritate sensitive skin.
It's highly absorbent and can take in 20% of its weight in moisture before feeling damp. This keeps wearers dry by pulling away perspiration.
