Here at Mediclo, we are always striving to be better. For this reason, we are focusing on ways in which we can be better allies to LGBTQ community. For every order placed this pride month, we are donating $1 to The Trevor Project, an organization that supports the mental health and wellbeing of LGBTQ youth by providing 24/7 counseling support.

While The Trevor Project is most commonly known for their crisis intervention resources, they also provide a social networking platform called TrevorSpace where LGBTQ+ youth can make friends and connections in a safe online community. 

In addition to their crisis services, the team at The Trevor Project also work in a myriad of different areas. They work at state and local levels to advocate for legislation and policies to ensure that the mental health needs of LGBTQ youth are being prioritized. They collect and analyze data from LGBTQ youth for research. And they partner with different organizations around the country to provide training and workshops to educate others on how to best support LGBTQ youth.

Together, they serve roughly 1.8 million crisis contacts per year, and they are working to help create an inclusive society where all LGBTQ young people are optimistic about their futures.

We recognize that many LGBTQ people face unique challenges and experience disproportionate rates of mental health hardships, so we are happy to support the work at The Trevor Project.
