VOL. 1
Intention with every stitch.

In the world of medical apparel, "design" is often sacrificed for "volume."
Most scrubs are cut from flat, generic templates intended to fit as many people as poorly as possible. They are utilitarian in the most basic sense—functional enough to wear, but never truly engineered for the specific physical demands of the job.
At Mediclo, we approach design through a different lens: Intentionality. We don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all solution because a trauma nurse in an ER has vastly different needs than a specialist on a consultation round. Every seam, pocket, and hem in our collection is a deliberate choice made to solve a specific clinical challenge.
Engineering for practical utility
We don’t just add features for the sake of aesthetics. We look at the architectural requirements of a shift and build products that act as tools.
Case Study 1: The Kume 2.0 – The Utility Specialist
The Kume 2.0 Versatile Cargo Pant is a masterclass in adaptability. It was designed for the clinician whose environment transitions as fast as their patient’s status.
-
Convertible Geometry: Featuring adjustable ankle drawcords, the Kume 2.0 allows you to switch from a slim straight-leg silhouette to a jogger fit in seconds. This isn't just a style choice—it’s about safety. Tapering the leg ensures your hems stay clear of floor-level contaminants and equipment during high-speed movements.
-
Security-First Storage: Beyond its seven-pocket capacity, we integrated a reinforced zipper cargo pocket. It provides a "zero-fail" storage zone for high-value items like narcotic keys or personal devices, ensuring they remain secure through every squat and sprint.
Case Study 2: The Java – The Hybrid Cargo Jogger
The Java Tapered Scrub Pant is designed for those who need the polish of a professional trouser with the high-speed functionality of a technical jogger.
-
The Half-Ribbed Cuff: The standout feature of the Java is its innovative half-ribbed ankle cuff. By placing the ribbing only on the back of the ankle, we’ve created a hybrid finish. You get the sleek, uninterrupted aesthetic of a tapered pant from the front, but the functional "grip" and stay-put security of a jogger.
-
Strategic Cargo Utility: Despite its streamlined, tapered look, the Java doesn't compromise on capacity. We’ve engineered a low-profile cargo system that maintains the pant's clean lines while providing dedicated space for essential gear. By optimizing the placement and depth of the side pockets, we’ve eliminated the "bulk" typically associated with cargo pants, ensuring your tools are easily accessible but never in the way.
